Acceptance testing ensures the proper operation of newly installed electrical apparatus prior to its being energized. Acceptance testing also provides baseline measurements for future comparison.
Maintenance Testing determines whether existing electrical apparatus is able to provide continued suitable operation. A safe and reliable system is ensured with regularly maintained equipment. Potential problems can be identified before requiring expensive solutions and causing downtime or injury.
As a full member of the InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA) and being accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2005, UTILITIES INSTRUMENTATION SERVICE, INC. can provide a wide array of services for our customers. Electrical testing as well as visual and mechanical inspections are performed according to NETA standards. All testing is performed using equipment that is calibrated and traceable to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
