Projects
The UIS Group of Companies continues
to provide service and support
for many companies, industries,
and municipalities throughout Michigan and the
Midwest. Some
of our recent and current projects
include:
- Replacement of the governor
controls for two generators at
the O'Shaughnessy Hydroelectric
Plant in Columbus, OH
- Additions to SCADA telemetry
systems at Scio Township, Superior
Township, Southern Clinton County,
and Tuscarawas County
- Preventative Maintenance services
for Ann Arbor Wastewater Treatment
Plant and Ann Arbor Veterans
Hospital
On an on-going basis, Utilities Instrumentation
Service continues to provide maintenance and
technical support for the University of Michigan,
Eastern Michigan University, Western Michigan University,
Hillsdale Board of Public Utilities, DTE Energy
Technology, St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, and Detroit
Metropolitan Airport.
The UIS Group of Companies has
also provided on-site training,
system demonstrations, and consultation
for the University of Michigan, the Michigan
Water Environmental Agency, the American Water
Works Association, the Michigan Rural Water Association,
the Ohio Rural Water Association, Michigan South
Central Power Agency, and Dearborn Industrial
Generation. These
programs highlighted Motorola
Toolbox software, Wonderware Graphics software,
generator operation, and electrical
safety.
