The UIS Group of Companies continues to provide service and support for many companies, industries, and municipalities throughout North America. Some of our recent and current projects include:
- Replacement of the governor controls for the generator at the Barton Hydroelectric Plant for the City of Ann Arbor
- Design and installation of new SCADA telemetry systems for Cheboygan, Rogers City, Romulus, Hillsdale Board of Public Utilites (all in MI) and for Sandusky, OH
- Additions to SCADA telemetry systems at Dexter and White Lake Township, MI
- Furnishing and installation of controls and telemetry system for Put-In-Bay, OH
- Electrical testing for the University of Michigan Motts Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor and for the Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN
On an on-going basis, the UIS Group of Companies continues to provide maintenance and technical support for the University of Michigan, Eastern Michigan University, Western Michigan University, Hillsdale Board of Public Utilities, DTE Energy Technology, St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, and Detroit Metropolitan Airport.
The UIS Group of Companies has also provided on-site training, system demonstrations, and consultation for the University of Michigan, the Michigan Water Environmental Agency, the American Water Works Association, the Michigan Rural Water Association, the Ohio Rural Water Association, Michigan South Central Power Agency, and Dearborn Industrial Generation. These programs highlighted Motorola Toolbox software, Wonderware Graphics software, generator operation, and electrical safety.
